Correcting misspelled words

i-scribe is designed to be as accurate as possible, but as with all AI, sometimes it might misinterpret details like drug or location names. With our Dictionary Function, you can easily make these corrections.

 

Why Corrections are Sometimes Needed

Even the best AI can occasionally misspell specific terms or names. i-scribe's Dictionary Function makes it quick and easy to correct these minor details, ensuring your output is always accurate and professional.

Correcting a Misspelled Word or Phrase

Step 1: Highlight the Word or Phrase

  • Highlight the word or phrase you wish to correct in your document (Image 1).
  • A pop-up box will appear.

Tip: At the top of the pop-up, you’ll see the word or phrase that will be replaced. We recommend checking that it matches your intended correction.

Step 2: Enter the Correct Spelling

  • In the Replace With section, type in the correct spelling.

Step 3: Apply the Correction

  • To replace the word or phrase in your current documents only, click Replace All (Image 2).

  • To apply the correction to all future documents, click Replace All and Learn (Image 3).

Using the Dictionary for Formatting

You can also use this feature to make quick formatting changes. For example, you can:

  • Underline words or phrases
  • Bold text
  • Add or remove bullet points
