I want to customise my "Dictaphone-Smart" and/or "Dictaphone-Verbatim"

Customising "Dictaphone-Smart" and "Dictaphone-Verbatim" can cause issues. Below are tips and tricks to get the best outcome from these outputs.

Each time we customise a "Dictaphone" output it can introduce errors.

Tips:

Usually when people want to customise these outputs, it's because they want certain headings. The best way to get the heading you want is to dictate it (or say it) while recording.

For example, try saying different phrases to get the output you prefer. For example if you wanted to insert a heading that says "Plan:"...

  • For "Dictaphone - Smart", it might work well to say: "Insert a heading that says Plan"
  • But, for "Dictaphone - Verbatim", it might work well to say: "Plan colon new line"
