This answer to this depends on the purpose behind the request

To answer this question, there are a few key points to consider:

  • We do not create Transcripts that are designed (or guaranteed) to be without error.
    • While it is technically possible to copy the contents of the Transcript box, the Transcript has known errors (such as speech-to-text errors). Therefore, depending on your intent, it may not be helpful to keep a Transcript with known errors.
      • Please note: although these Transcript errors sometimes look significant, we work hard to ensure they're not present in the outputs.
  • All outputs created by i-scribe are considered "draft" documents. Everything that is copied from i-scribe must be proof-read and approved by a registered clinician.
  • Some users choose to run "Dictaphone Mode - Verbatim" to create a "transcript". This approach encounters a couple of issues:
    • 1: Like all i-scribe outputs, this must be proof-read, edited, and approved before saving outside of i-scribe.聽
      • Please note, although "Dictaphone Mode - Verbatim" is intended to be as close to verbatim as possible, it can still make changes.聽
  • - 2: There is a maximum length issue that you may encounter when using Dictaphone Mode - Verbatim. This limitation is particularly noticeable when the prompt is used for this purpose.
